Over the years the US government has recognized several organizations and companies throughout the United States for their unparalleled achievements in their respected industry. One particular award is the United States Governments' E-Star Award for Excellence in Exporting. Only after being nominated and selected at the state level is a company eligible to be nominated at the national level.
It was with great pleasure and appreciation that Midamar Corporation earned the honor to be included with other prestigious and respected USA companies in receiving the U.S. governments E-Star Award from President Bush in 1990.
The following photo shows former U.S. President, George Bush, presenting MIDAMAR Corporation's President, Bill Aossey, with the highest USA award for export… the E-Star award! This award has been bestowed upon fewer than 200 U.S.A. companies since its inception nearly 30 years ago. In addition, MIDAMAR is the first Muslim owned company to have received this honor and recognition.
The E-Star award presented by former President George Bush reflects the achievements of the MIDAMAR Officers and Staff in International Services and Exports throughout the Middle East and South East Asia. In addition to several other awards, the MIDAMAR officers were invited by President Bush and the United States Secretary of Commerce to attend a White House reception in the Rose Garden.
