Bill Aossey presents at World Islamic Economic Forum
Bill Aossey, founder and Senior Director of Midamar Corporation, was recently featured in the Fall 2011 edition of the Cornell Report, a quarterly magazine put out by Cornell College of Mount Vernon, Iowa, with the following story:
Bill Aossey, '63, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, traveled to Astana, Kazakhstan, where he delivered a presentation on "Global Food Security and Resources in Islamic Markets" for the seventh World Islamic Economic Forum, June 7-9, 2011. The forum was organized with the assistance of the Malaysian government and hosted by the government of Kazakhstan, with approximately 2,700 attendees, guests, and speakers from 53 countries. Bill was one of the select few speakers and guests invited to President H.E. Nursultan Nazarbayev's formal state dinner for the closing of the forum.
